Granite bases are an attractive alternative
to plain cement foundations. Some cemeteries allow granite bases as an option,
while at other cemeteries it may be a requirement. You will want to verify with
your cemetery if they permit granite bases, and if so, in what size and color.

Granite is a natural product. The
concentration and distribution of the various color components will vary with
each piece of granite, and some variance should
be expected.
The cost of a bronze marker with a
granite base (see our Cost
information) includes your choice of any of the seven standard colors shown
above. Other granite colors are available at an additional cost. Please advise
us when completing the Price Quote request if your
cemetery requires a color other than those shown above.
Granite Base Configurations

A standard granite base is four inches thick, and
extends two inches beyond each edge of the bronze marker. Vase holes will be
bored through the base for markers with built-in flower vases. Optionally, the
vase can be mounted outside the marker in an extension of the base, either at
the top or the right or left side.

Granite Bases For Dual Markers

Two separate, 24" x 12" markers
can be mounted on a single granite base, either with or without a
flower vase. Please click on our Cost
link for complete size and cost information.
